October 24, 2021

We had a very Blessed and great day, Yellow Ribbon America and Operation Christmas For Our Troops & Their Families Elves were special guests and was able to help support the wonderful Soldiers and families of C CO, 1st BN, 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne), their families along with other US Army Airborne Soldiers from Texas, Utah and Arizona maintaining their annual Airborne Training qualifications and status, along with Soldiers in the process of earning the coveted “Green Beret” with their October, 2021 Airborne Operation at the Joint Forces Training Base in beautiful Los Alamitos, California, USA.

It was so neat to be with them and bring Halloween themed support with “Dietrich’s Hawaiian Hazelnut Coffee”, assorted Bagels, Cream Cheese and lots of Halloween Candy for them and their families. Our Military especially our US Special Operation Unit’s miss so many Holiday’s serving and protecting us. We also started collecting signatures for our 3rd Our Nation’s Heroes Captain America Shield to help support Operation Christmas For Our Troops & Their Families and Military Family Day Unit support efforts.

– MAJ Robert Ashley Commander, C Company, 1-19th Special Forces Group (Airborne), CA ARNG.

U.S. Special Forces Training can be very dangerous at times which is the nature of their job in protecting us. Last month Staff SGT. Paul Lincoln Olmstead from Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne), died while participating in the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) Maritime Assessment Course at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Sept. 21, 2021. We ask you to keep SGT. Paul Olmstead’s family, friends and fellow US Army Special Forces Soldiers in your prayers. Freedom Is Never Free…

“We Loved them, Fed them and Prayed for Them… As we supported and honored them they honored us.” -Chief Elf Brad

We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Major General William H. Wade II. (Ret.)

October 22, 2021

We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Major General William H. Wade II. (Ret.) former Adjutant General of the California Army and Air National Guard from 2005 through 2010. May God comfort and bless his wife Leslie, their children Justin and William, and four grandchildren, his friends and fellow Soldiers.

Today Friday, October 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. A Memorial Service with full Military Honors was held at Mather Field, 10616 Superfortress Avenue, Mather, California.

He always supported us with our Military Unit and their families support efforts from our Operation Christmas For Our Troops & Their Families California State Capital kick-offs to our 225th Anniversary of the Purple Heart & Welcome Home Events. The first one in Southern California at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and the second at the California State Capitol in Sacramento California. He was a great Leader and loved his family,  Troops, their families and America.

“I will always remember sitting behind him on the bus everyday going from our Hotel to the Convention Center during the 2007 National Guard Conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Although he seemed quite at times he had a very good sense of humor and was always on the phone with his Unit Commanders in the field in Iraq and Afghanistan making sure his Troops were ok and had what they needed to defeat Americas enemies.

Major General Wade thank you for your great help and support of Yellow Ribbon America and Operation Christmas For Our Troops & Their Families through the years and of me personally we were so blessed to have you in our lives you helped us greatly to keep going and not give up… ~Brad White Founder and Chief Elf, Yellow Ribbon America and Operation Christmas For Our Troops & Their Families.”

“His legacy of integrity, commitment to mission, and the highest standards will carry on in the thousands of Soldiers, Airmen, and civilian leaders he touched throughout his near half-century of distinguished military service,” said Maj. Gen. David S. Baldwin, The Adjutant General of California.”
