This week Team Yellow Ribbon America & Operation Christmas For Our Troops & Their Families was humbled and honored to bring food & beverage support to C CO, 1st BN, 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne) Change of Command Ceremony at the Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos, California, USA.
It was a beautiful Southern California morning for the private Changing of Command Ceremony and sad farewell to MAJ Ashley who has led, trained and fought side by side on multiple Deployments with his Special Forces Soldiers for over 10 years.
As the CANG Band played and the audience of fellow Special Forces Soldiers, family members and former Special Forces Soldiers and Vietnam Veterans sang the Ballet of The Green Barret many were deeply moved and cried. We cried also and felt so blessed to be there and share this special moment with them.
We were very honored to once again have Major Ashley sign our 4th Captain America Shield for our upcoming Silent Auction for the Christmas Drive.
We were honored to receive the Command Sergeant Majors and Commanding Officers Challenge Coin. Team Yellow Ribbon America & Operation Christmas For Our Troops & Their Families On A Mission For God, Family & Freedom!
